Simplify Your Tech was founded in February 2023, by Kat Milner.

Often new practitioners and business owners are excited about their new skills and to launch their new business. After their training ends, they’re sent out to get clients and change the world. However, when you get home, you realise you have no idea how to begin to get clients, set up a business, and are at a loss of what to do next.

I’ve been there. After completing Hypnosis training and NLP Practitioner training, it felt like as soon as the shingle was hung out, the world would beat a path to my door, wanting me to help make their lives better. Instead, there was frustration after frustration trying to market my services, and only getting clients here and there.

I also found that one of the biggest things that I struggled with - and others that commiserated with me - was the technology I needed to set up and use in my business.

I'd get lost down "rabbit holes" of research, for things people kept telling me I needed for my business. Different email scheduling tools, email platforms, course platforms, event platforms - it was all so overwhelming that I just didn't know what to do, so I would just put it off for another day.

One day, I took the "bull by the horns" (as my Mother would say), and jumped in. I looked at my research, made choices about what would be the best programs for me, and learned how to get it all set up and integrated. Along the way, I started showing others how to do the same, and discovered I really enjoyed the teaching - and simplifying the process - for others.

My mission (and my passion) is to help Coaches & Solopreneurs focus on what they do best - without worrying about setting up things that only need to be done once. And to support them to learn to do those things you will need to handle regularly (like email sequences and landing pages) so that ultimately, they will create a sustainable, successful business and feel like they are having a meaningful impact not only on their own life, but in the lives of their family and clients.

Plus, in addition to all of the practical steps, we work on mindset. Banishing the feeling that you're "not good at tech", and empowering you to know you can handle every part of your business.
