You're Showing Up - So Where Are The Clients?

September 01, 20253 min read

“Client attraction isn't about doing more - it's about saying what matters to the people who need to hear it.”

~ Kat Milner, Chief Tech Ninja

Introduction:

If you’re doing all the right things but still not seeing consistent clients, you’re not alone.

You’re doing all the things… but your calendar still isn’t filling up.

You’ve taken the courses.
You’ve created your coaching offer.
You’ve posted. You’ve networked. You’ve put yourself out there.

So why aren’t more clients saying yes?

Let’s be clear: there’s nothing wrong with your offer.

But if your business still isn’t bringing in consistent income — even though you’re showing up and doing the work — there’s a good chance these quiet “blocks” are in the way.

1. You're Leading With What You Do - Not What They Want

You know your coaching can create deep transformation.
But the people you’re meant to help… aren’t always thinking in transformation language.

They’re waking up thinking:

  • “I just need to feel like myself again.”

  • “I’m tired of putting everyone else first and still feeling stuck.”

  • “I don’t want another course. I want change.”

If your content focuses on your method or your modality - things like “8-week programs,” “intuitive healing,” or “trauma-informed tools” - they're probably not hearing you.

How to shift this:
Speak to what they’re already craving: relief, change, hope, clarity. Use their words, not your certifications.

Quick win: Go to a past client message or testimonial and pull out one real sentence. Use that in your next post.

2. You're Sharing...But They're Unsure What Is Their Next Step

Your posts are helpful. Your story is powerful. Your offer is thoughtful.
But if someone wanted to work with you right now — would they know how?

If your business doesn’t have a clear, consistent way to invite people in, they’ll hesitate. Not because they don’t want it… but because the path isn’t obvious.

How to shift this:
Create one confident, consistent next step — whether that’s a link to your calendar, a message prompt, or a free event.

Quick win: End your next post with:
“If you’ve been nodding along, this might be your next step. Here’s how we can explore that together…”

3. You're Waiting For It To Be Perfect - And Staying Stuck

Let’s be honest - when you care deeply about your work, it’s easy to overthink every detail.
Your program name. Your “niche.” Whether your website is ready.

But the truth is: clients don’t come because you’re perfect.
They come because you’re present, authentic, real, and they feel safe with you.

How to shift this:
Let imperfect action be enough. Show up with what you have. Let connection lead the way.

Quick win: Invite one warm lead or past client into a low-pressure chat. No pitch, just reconnection.

A Few Final Thoughts

You don't need a "funnel" - you need flow.

Your next clients don’t need to be “captured.” They need to feel something real.

They need to know there’s someone who gets it. Someone who can walk with them. Someone who isn’t shouting “6 figures now!” - but whispering, “Let’s take the next right step together.”
